This website was created as a joint project of the many members of the Future of Food and Farming Working Group of Sustainable Peterborough, formed in 2012. The Working Group has now become the independent Peterborough Alliance for Food and Farming. The membership of the Alliance may be found HERE. Strategic planning is presently underway to confirm the Vision, Mission and Goals needed to move our local community towards a more food secure future for all.
A food system is best represented by a continuous circle. Many people are involved – from businesses, to non-profit organizations and charities, institutions, governments and of course the general public. The Alliance strives to bring together representation from all those with a stake in this collaborative work.
