Join us for the official declaration of local Food Month 2017 by the County Warden and the office of the Mayor. And pick up some delicious local food while you are there!

Can All You Can Workshop Series – Part 2 – Preserving Fruits

Thursday, Sept. 1:

6:30-8:30pm Peterborough Public Health, 185 King Street, Peterborough
Participants will have the opportunity to learn both safe waterbath canning techniques and ideas for putting up seasonal bounty. All recipes will contain locally grown ingredients purchased the day before at the Peterborough Downtown Farmers’ Market and will reflect produce that is most bountiful this season.
